ITA exists to promote the information
technology community and help Illinois member businesses succeed by
providing networking, advocacy, resources and leadership. The
association is completely member driven and comprised of the best
companies in the state that create, deploy or utilize information
technology as a core part of their business. From entrepreneurs to the
largest corporations in Illinois, the ITA is where collaboration
happens.
The ITA is the successor to the Chicago
Software Association which was formed through the merger of the
Chicago High Tech Association with the Illinois Software Association
and Center. |

The Illinois Technology
Development Alliance (ITDA) is a public-private nonprofit established
to stimulate the formation and fuel the development of high-growth
technology companies in Illinois. ITDA helps these promising
companies fundamentally address business, technology, management and
other strategic issues critical to their success, preparing them to
raise capital and go to market. ITDA is an outgrowth of the
Illinois Coalition. |

Journeys In Film (JiF)

Journeys in Film® broadens global
learning, fosters cross-cultural understanding and improves middle
school students’ academic performance by harnessing one of the most
powerful forms of media – film. This program model strengthens
existing school curricular framework by marrying artful examples of a
popular entertainment form with rigorous, standards-based lesson plans
for core subjects including social studies, language arts, math,
geography, science, the arts and media literacy. |

The mission of Illinois Fatherhood
Initiative is to end father absence by connecting children and fathers
and promoting responsible fatherhood by equipping men to be better
father and father figures.
IFI has identified 4 main areas of program concentration to try to
realize our mission:
Education,
Health,
Workplace, and
The Illinois Fathers' Resource Network.
IFI believes that our programs can help
strengthen the father-child relationship at each stage of life from
birth to adulthood. |
